Associate – Research 3 The Center for GeoInformatics (C4G) at Louisiana State University (LSU) is seeking entry-level full-time land surveying personnel in support of geodetic research in Louisiana and the Northern Gulf of Mexico. The position will act as Surveying Field Support Personnel and will work with a Professional Land Surveyor and should have knowledge and skills related to Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) field surveys and computations using Global Navigational Satellite Systems (GNSS) technology in addition to advanced geodetic devices such as gravimeters and celestial cameras. The successful candidate will apply these technologies to measure point locations and elevations, establish positional benchmarks, and assess the precision and accuracy of such measurements under a variety of challenging environmental conditions.
