LSU /
Southern Student Function
The LES
Baton Rouge Chapter takes pride in supporting our local
universities. Both LSU and Southern have
outstanding engineering programs that feed the
outstanding engineering community of the Baton Rouge
area. Each year, the Baton Rouge Chapter hosts a
jambalaya dinner mixer for engineering students and area
professionals. This casual atmosphere allows
members to introduce LES to the students, while allowing
the students to meet with potential employers and
discuss the engineering profession.
Contributions by sponsors help to benefit the
William A. Wintz Scholarship Program. This program offers
scholarships annually to deserving engineering students
at LSU and Southern.
