Louisiana Engineering Center

In December of 1999, the Louisiana
Engineering Foundation (LEF) opened the much-anticipated
Louisiana Engineering Center. The Center is
currently home to the LAPELS Board, the Louisiana
Engineering Society, the American Council of Engineering
Companies of Louisiana, the Louisiana Society of
Professional Surveyors, and the Louisiana Engineering
Foundation.
The intent of the building is to serve as
the central hub for engineering and have the ability to
generate income from rental payments that would be used
to fund scholarships. However, all of the rental
funds are being used to pay down the building debt.
Therefore, in October of 2008, LEF began to solicit
donations from area engineering companies with the
purpose of retiring building debt so that it can move
forward with its goal of promoting engineering in
Louisiana.
LEF would like to offer it thanks to the
following companies for their donations:
Southeast Engineers, Inc.
Engensus, LLC
Becht
Engineering Co., Inc.
C.
Mistric Surveyors, Inc.
GEC
Assaf,
Simoneaux, Tauzin, & Assoc., Inc.
Fox-Nesbit Engineering,
