Continuing Professional Development

Beginning January 1, 1999 all registrants will be required to verify their compliance with the CPD requirements at the end of their first full biennial renewal period for those whose registration period begins after January 1, 1999. Registrants will then have to continue to verify their compliance for each period thereafter.

As part of the new Rules the Louisiana Engineering Society, being a recognized professional engineering organization, is an approving authority for continuing education courses. The Louisiana Professional Engineering and Land Surveying Board has delegated approval authority to technical and engineering organization as well as universities.
